Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden Program

Our Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden Program is offered to students in Years 3 & 4. It includes a one hour cooking class and one hour of gardening per fortnight.

The Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden provides a pleasurable food education program for our students. It helps students to form positive food habits for life, which they can share with others. Students learn about the values of collaboration and perseverance as they cook and garden together. Mathematics is also incorporated into cooking lessons and garden design, with students learning about fractions and measurement.
