Last Thursday, students participated in a free sustainability incursion run by ‘The Connies’. Students were treated to a presentation by Roberto, a tram conductor and ecologist, who gave each student a set of biodiversity cards with facts about animals from our local environment. Roberto talked with the students about the characteristics of these animals, their local habitats and the importance of looking after our local environment. Students really enjoyed discussing these ideas with Roberto, and he was very impressed with their knowledge and enthusiasm.
